Springboard Sunderland is making a £2m investment in new state of the art training facilities in the City. They will soon become the first company to move into the Rivergreen Industry Centre at Pallion.
Springboard will use two new high spec buidlings to provide high quality training and education facilities for young people and adults. The buildings will offer specialist training facilities including a motor vehicle workshop, a design and print studio, a nursery facility, a kitchen and special areas for developing skills in particular trades.
Head of Springboard in Sunderland, Denise Wilson, said: "We design and deliver training for those who might otherwise find it difficult. We have a long history in Sunderland and the new investment represents our continued commitment to the City. Our intention is to make sure that local people have the best facilities in which to improve their education, develop their self-esteem and acquire the qualities expected by employers."
