Sunderland E2E - Home - News

A Cool Job
John, an 18 years old E2E learner at Springboard was coming near to the end of his programme and needed a placement.John said he would like to work in a supermarket as he had done this type of work before.

After trying to make calls himself he suggested we try Iceland in the Bridges, Sunderland. The manager, Mike Dryden agreed on opening up a placement and within a few days John started working there. John took to his daily routine well, he filled shelves, helped with stock taking and the loading and unloading of Lorries.

John did continue to impress Mike with his work and true to his word Mike gave him a job. Well done John!
